About the Founder

Atty. Rapunzel Mae F. Maluto-Javier is the founding lawyer of Maluto Law and a seasoned litigator whose practice is grounded in excellence, integrity, and compassion. She is also a Founding and Managing Partner of Maluto Manalaysay Yu Tolentino Law Firm, reflecting her commitment to collaborative and effective legal advocacy.

A product of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Atty. Maluto-Javier distinguished herself early in both law and undergraduate studies. She graduated as Class Valedictorian of the PLM College of Law and was recognized as Most Outstanding College Student and Academic Excellence Awardee. Prior to law school, she earned her degree in Business Economics, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and was named Batch Topnotcher and Top Performing Student. She was a consistent honor student and a scholar of the Luis Co Chi Kiat Foundation, Inc., achievements that reflect her discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

Her legal training was profoundly shaped by COMELEC Chairman George Erwin M. Garcia, whom she fondly refers to as “Dean George.” Under his mentorship, she gained insights that went beyond legal theory and litigation—lessons in ethical judgment, courage, humility, and public service. From him, she learned that the law must always be applied with fairness and humanity, and that great lawyering is defined as much by character as by competence.

With years of litigation experience, Atty. Maluto-Javier has developed a client-centered approach to law practice. She believes that being a lawyer is not only about providing legal advice, but also about being a listening ear and steady guide during times of uncertainty. Her aim is for clients to leave her office with clarity, confidence, and a lighter burden.

Known for her charismatic presence and comprehensive explanations, Atty.
